OLD SCHOOL MUSIC STUDIO
"You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle
and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house."
-Matthew 5:14-15-

My name is Eliza and I am a musician and music teacher.
I began my musical journey with piano lessons during childhood and playing the flute in school. I am self-taught on violin, guitar, mandolin, and ukulele. I have classical training and a degree in Flute Performance and have had limited classical training in voice. I consider myself a folk musician overall and I take great joy in playing and singing many
different genres of music.
Having converted to the Catholic faith in my last year of college, I changed my course entirely. I began to purge much music and media out of my life that was not pleasing to God and had to accept that a lot of the music I had greatly enjoyed listening to and playing for years was not good for my soul. After a long process of reforming my musical mind and changing my course through much time, prayer, and research, I determined that with the abilities God gave me as a musician, I have a duty to at least attempt to provide pure and wholesome music, especially for fellow Christians who are in the same predicament I was in; discouragement at the scarceness of pure musical content aside from sacred music.
Thus, I arrange, write, play, and record instrumental and vocal music
both sacred and secular for the glory of God and the edification of souls.
I record sacred music as music therapy to order the faculties,
raise the soul and mind to God, and soothe the body.
I also record secular music that is wholesome and balanced entertainment pure and moral in its lyrics and free from disordered rhythms. I seek out folk songs with Christian themes to cover and I also set Catholic poetry to music.
I began this work when I learned about the power of frequencies and how disordered music
has fueled revolutions and changed societies throughout human history.
Looking at the utter moral depravity of society today,
I researched the fall of Western Civilization and found that changes in music correlated
with cultural degeneration.
I discovered this both in revolutionary, overly passionate music
and in frivolous, vacuous music on the other end of the spectrum,
both of which devolved as time went on.
Despite the heroic efforts of many people throughout history who slowed or temporarily reversed this degeneration, the devil has so far won the war.
Today, anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear can understand what debauchery and noise
that is wrongly called "music" has done to the world.
For those who seek what is true, good, and beautiful, I have set out to provide an antidote using the abilities
God has given me, so that when I stand before Him, He will not ask me,
"Where were you when the world was drenched in evil noise so disordered that they could not hear My voice?"
This work is for the glory of God, the love and joy of music, and the edification and healing of souls who seek wholesome content.
Please feel free to contact me anytime.
